Abstract :
Forster Rohner Textile Innovations, a division of Inter-Spitzen AG with global operations, develops and produces electronic textiles (e-textiles) based on embroidery technology. The core competencies include the development of miniaturized electronic components and their robust integration into carrier fabrics as well as combinations of functional and aesthetic embroidery. Textile sensor structures, flexible heating elements, and LEDs (patented e-broidery® technology) integrated into textiles allow the development of innovative products for areas such as medical, lighting, and industrial technologies, and for smart home and lifestyle applications
Bio :
I am a textile engineer with several years of R&D experience. After finishing my study at Reutlingen University, Germany, I have managed an R&D team of a textile medical device company in Switzerland. As project manager within the development projects I have been involved in everything from testing of various materials and technologies to product launch.
Since 2021 I have been part of the team of Forster Rohner Textile Innovations as a Sales Engineer. At Forster Rohner Textile Innovations we develop electronic textiles based on embroidery technology.
